Jack’s wedding ceremony began now, Jack in the groom costume, his wife in a wedding gown, together they walking toward the priest, hand in hand. If you had gone to Jack’s wedding ceremony, you would certainly get astonished by it, wondering whether you have entered into a fairy- tale world. “I was born a dwarf with a height of 96cm. Even when I was 20, I still looked like a child, which upseted me a lot. People usually treated me in 2 different ways, either looking down upon me and laughing at me or feeling sympathy for me—neither made me feel comfortable. What I need was not compassion or despise but respect.

“One day I went to watch a show given by a circle. I found there were other dwarfs performing on the stage. Their performance won a lot of applauses from the audience. After the show finished, I talked to the boss of the circle, begging to join the circle. The boss agreed. It was only from that moment did my life really begin. I met a lot of dwarfs in the circle. We live together, helping each other, taking care of each other. I felt extremely happy to living there for I had felt a sense of belonging.

“Soon the other dwarfs and I became good friends, which brought me a lot of joy. And the happiest thing was I met Jenny, my wife there. After being some time together, we found that we almost had the same experience and viewpoints. We fell in love with each other. After a period of time I decided to give Jenny a big surprise—giving her a special wedding dresses and proposing to her. At that moment my friends were really enthusiastic and helpful, assisting me to meet this target, some asking Jenny what was her ideal wedding gowns looked like, some accompanying me to the wedding dresses store to tailor the gown. Under everyone’s joint effort, finally, the wedding dress was finished. The next day, I gave Jenny the dress and proposed to her. She was deeply moved and agreed to be my wife. I am not a good girlfriend, but I will be a good wife. I have a boyfriend, we have stayed together for one more year, he is not rich, but he treats me very well, even though he has no money, he will buy me what I like. When I see him again, I feel he is thinner than before, and he hugged me and cried loudly, he said to me that he loves me very much.

Until I know another man, I know that I am not a good girl, I am so sorry to my boyfriend, the man who loves me than love himself. My parents took their wedding photos recently. They have married for twenty years, but, this was their first time to have wedding pictures.

Lacking of money made my parents unable to have pictures of wedding dresses when they got married. My mother’s biggest pity was she even didn’t have a wedding dress picture. My father clearly understood it even though my mother didn’t mention that once a time. Swearing to him that he would make up all what my mother had lost, my father worked very hard from the day they got married to earn more money!

Life became better and better under my parents’ joint efforts. They both were busy with their business that they couldn’t spare time to enjoy their own lives. But last Monday, my fathers canceled all his engagements. When they got up in the morning, he huge my mother warmly and gazed at her with deep love. “My baby, today I will realize your dream!” said to my father. Understanding that my mother was puzzling, my father added: “We didn’t take our wedding picture yet. I will let you be my beautiful bride today.” My mother burst into tears when she heard this.

They came back home with piles of wedding photos. “You see you still my young and elegant lady when you wear wedding dress.” My father told his beloved girl. “Do you mean I am not beautiful if didn’t wear wedding dress?” my mother pretended angry and said so. “You are an angel forever in my eyes!” happiness fulfilled my mother’s heart.

Although the wedding pictures of my parents came twenty years later, but, I believe my mother never regret to marry with my father.

My friend will come to visit me, I am a little miss her, but I never tell her.

We are at the same age, so from the moment we were born, there has a comparison between us, such as, when we were babies, if she had a better healthy condition, my parents will try their best to improve my healthy, when we were at the same primary school, if she did better on her study, of course, my parents will use some methods to improve my scores, even though I also did a good job on my study or I was just the second. But lucky, from the time I was born, I was the best, all our teachers like me more than her.

One year later, she gave birth to a cute baby, a lovely daughter, but when the baby was half year old, she died from a kind of disease. My friend was very sad. After a long time, she told me that she was pregnant again, but when she gave the check to her baby, she found that their baby who was not born also was caught by the same kind of disease. The doctor told her that she can not have that baby. Because my friend did not have a good body condition, so she must have a miscarriage by medicine, it was very cruel to her and also very cruel to their baby.

We are born at the same month, when I was having the birthday party when my friends, when I was received all kinds of gifts from my boyfriend, when I was enjoying the happy time, she was crying, cried for her children, sometimes, god is unfair, but that was decided by ourselves.
